Very handy when customers need specific text on an invoice – make your life easier by pre-populating some of the content.

Leaine’s Tips:

  • Use shortcodes for the Item Codes that make sense when searching
  • Use Items for billing lines for sales invoices where specific information is required for the invoice to be accepted
  • Use Items for: – regular expenses that differ to the default GST  – and explain in your description  (eg. Microsoft 365 subscription, business to business, nil GST) – Customs GST (so have the correct GST tax type = GST on Imports)
  • Utilise the ‘duplicate’ option when adding new items that are similar
  • Regularly review and amend your list – keep it tidy and useful.
